Prof. Kassim Javaid University of Oxford | United Kingdom Prof. Kassim Javaid is Professor of Osteoporosis and Adult Rare Bone Diseases and University Lecturer in Metabolic Bone Disease at the Nuffield Centre of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences (NDORMS), University of Oxford, UK. His research areas are in epidemiology and adult metabolic bone disease focusing on vitamin D, osteoporosis, secondary fracture prevention and rare bone diseases. Prof. Javaid has led a Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) since 2008 and FLS networks regionally, nationally through the FLSDB national audit, and is a former co-chair of the Capture the Fracture® programme.
