In this course, Professor Daniel Pinto will present the global state of evidence and the recommendations for rehabilitation of patients post fragility fracture. He will review the standard flow of post-fracture care, knowing that the continuum of care is complex. Professor Pinto will elaborate on clinical principles that physicians should consider within fracture rehabilitation management. He will highlight the distinct elements of a comprehensive approach including multi-modal exercises, physiotherapy, nutritional care and interventions and education of fracture patients.

Finally, he will present suggestions for future research by the Rehabilitation Working Group of the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) Committee of Scientific Advisors.
